Gifting books to the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia

On May 15th, law firm Skrastiņš & Dzenis gifted 15 copies of books to The University of Latvia, Faculty of Law. The donation of the books “Civilprocesa likuma komentāri. I daļa (1.-28.nodaļa)” (“Comments on the Civil Procedure Law. Part I (Chapters 1 to 28)”) aims to support the students of University of Latvia Faculty of Law.

The donation made will also support University of Latvia Faculty of Law bachelor students starting from the second year and masters students by granting scholarships. The applications for the scholarships of the new academic year will be available on September 6th on www.fonds.lv.

The senior partners of Skrastiņš & Dzenis are graduates of the University of Latvia and emphasize that the University of Latvia is one of the best education institutions, that prepares specialists in this field, and therefore it is important to support new Faculty of Law students not only by providing internships, but with access to practicing education materials and scientific literature as well, which is necessary to students in the studying process and to the specialists of industry in their daily work.
